Abstract
This symposium explored the links between access to safe water and sanitation and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in a South African and broader African context. Proceedings include 52 papers covering sanitation technology, behaviour change, rural water supply, marginalised communities’ access to services, and institutional reform. Special sessions addressed youth and gender inclusion in the water sector and the role of universities in supporting SDG6 monitoring.
